Find your bin collection day

You can check your next bin (recycling, refuse and garden waste) collection day by using our online address look up tool.

Account required to view collection dates

We've recently moved to a new system and are currently working on making the lookup tool accessible without requiring a sign-up. You are welcome to call us to check: 01279 655261.

If your bins aren’t showing, it’s likely because your address is missing a UPRN (Unique Property Reference Number).

To fix this:

Go to My Profile.

Click Address Details.

When asked “Do you want to change your address?”, select Yes.

Re-enter your full address.

This will update your UPRN and display your bins correctly.

Please note:

  • We are unable to specify a specific time for collection, so you should ensure that your bins are placed in front of your property boundary before 6am to avoid a missed collection.
  • Bin collection(s) can occur any time between 6am - 5pm.
  • Bin collections change during public holidays. You can find your updated collection date via our waste portal.
  • If you pay for your garden waste to be collected - your collection date is included in the address look up tool above.

At this time of year as temperatures drop the contents of your bins can become frozen. Our crews will attempt to empty frozen bins but sometimes the contents can become stuck.
To avoid your bin not being emptied, please:

  • Check the lid of your bin will open before collection is due
  • If you have a lot of garden waste, do not squash it into the bin
  • Loosen the waste by sliding a spade between the contents and the side of the bin
  • If possible, store your bin in a slightly warmer place, against a wall or inside a garage or shed
  • Try to keep liquid to a minimum in your kitchen and general waste bins. Moisture from bin bags in wheelie bins creates condensation, which makes wheelie bin lids more likely to freeze in very cold weather.
