Bulky Rubbish Collection

If you have household items that are too big for normal waste collections, we offer a separate, chargeable collection service.

Communal Properties

Communal properties share a bin or have a central collection point. If you live in a communal property your waste is collected on a weekly basis and your recycling is collected fortnightly.

Trade Waste

We have a dedicated Trade Waste, including Clinical Waste, service for all commercial organisations based in the East Herts administrative area.

Blue Lidded Bin Collections

Recycling is collected mixed via your blue lidded bin. The only separating you will need to do is placing paper in your paper box.

Brown Bin Collections

Food and garden waste is collected via your brown bin.

Dumped Rubbish (Flytipping)

You can report dumped rubbish to us to investigate and remove.

Assisted Bin Collection

Our Assisted Collection Service is an additional service offered to those who cannot physically move or lift their containers to the edge of the boundary on collection day.

Request a Bigger Bin

Your household may be eligible for extra capacity in the form of a larger bin if it has six or more permanent residents in the household, if there are two or more children in nappies or someone within the household uses incontinence wear.

Clinical Waste

Normally clinical waste is produced by businesses, however if you're a private resident and have clinical waste please read our guidance on how to arrange disposal.
