Grazing Cattle at Pishiobury Park
Grazing cattle will be reintroduced to Pishiobury Park in the coming weeks, with an educational event planned for Thursday, 9 April, giving residents the opportunity to chat with East Herts Council, as well as graziers from Maydencroft Farm, about the cattle and the park itself.

Crew and Waste Vehicle
Just five months after East and North Herts introduced the biggest change to waste and recycling services in over a decade, residents across both districts have achieved one of the sharpest reductions in non-recyclable waste either council has ever seen. Waste collected from residents’ purple-lidded bins has fallen by 5,883 tonnes compared with the same period last year.

East Herts Council have been working with artists from the local community, as well as Ware Men’s Shed, to upcycle ten benches that line the Ware to Hertford towpath, bringing the old benches back to life and decorating them with art inspired by the spirit, nature and heritage of the River Lea.
