ASB Awareness Week 2026
The East Herts Community Safety Partnership (CSP) will be supporting this year’s ASB (Anti-social behaviour) Awareness Week campaign between Monday, 29 June and Tuesday, 6 July.

The term ASB refers to the targeting of a specific individual or group, causing trouble, nuisance or suffering to a community, and the actions taken by a person to affect the environment, such as public spaces or buildings.

To mark Victims’ Day on Tuesday, 30 June, East Herts Council will launch a survey designed to gather information about ASB in the district. Victims and those who have been affected by ASB are encouraged to offer their insights and challenges, so that the East Herts CSP can learn from the survey responses and improve the services they provide to residents.

Cllr Mione Goldspink, Deputy Leader and Executive Member for Neighbourhoods at East Herts Council, said, “ASB Awareness Week is an excellent opportunity to reflect on how we support victims of ASB, whilst also giving us a chance raise awareness of the challenges posed to our local communities by ASB as we continue to combat it.

“I look forward to seeing partners from the East Herts CSP out in the district, offering support to those who need it most - they are doing critical work in making East Herts an even safer place to live, work and visit. I would ask that anyone who is suffering themselves from ASB or who notices or is aware on any other instances of ASB, should please report them to their local Councillor. Unless we are told about these instances, we will not be able to help. Whatever we can do to eradicate anti-social behaviour will benefit the whole community.”

Throughout the week, local Neighbourhood Policing Teams, partner agencies and community organisations will be hosting events across East Herts to engage with residents, address concerns and promote reporting and prevention of anti-social behaviour.
