Yesterday (Monday 12 September) a report was published on our website setting out potential changes to waste collections in East Herts.

Councillor Graham McAndrew, Executive Member for Environmental Sustainability, said:

"The proposals, which have been put forward to save money and boost recycling levels, include introducing a new weekly food waste collection and changing refuse bin collections to a three-weekly cycle.

“Our Overview and Scrutiny Committee will convene to consider these changes on Tuesday, 20 September, before making a recommendation to the council’s Executive meeting scheduled for 25 October.”

We will share further information after the period of national mourning on Tuesday, 20 September.
