What do you think of district council services?

The council is inviting everyone in East Herts to have their say on local services as it works to balance the books for the financial year ahead.

From planning and leisure to parking and bin collections, East Herts Council is responsible for delivering a vast range of services in the community.

As well as gathering opinion on how well services are run, the survey seeks to understand overall satisfaction levels and whether residents feel they receive value for money.

The council will use the information to inform its budget setting process as it works to develop proposals for 2022/23 and beyond. 

It follows a resident survey last year revealing that over 82% of people felt neutral, satisfied or very satisfied with the way East Herts Council runs things.

Councillor Geoffrey Williamson, executive member for financial sustainability said, “We want to know how we’re doing, to ensure we provide value for money but also to see what we need to prioritise or improve. By sharing their personal experience of services with us, residents will be shaping how we plan for the future of East Herts.”

All respondents will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 voucher to spend on their local high street.
