Though the main play area components are now complete, we will need to carry out further works to the pathway as there is a national shortage of the material required to complete this in the style we envisaged. Unfortunately we will not be able to lay the path until the week commencing 7 June, which will require a short closure. However we are aware that many residents and visitors are understandably eager to explore the new play area and so subject to final safety inspections, we will carry out a soft opening from the afternoon of Wednesday 19th May. Please note the fencing surrounding the play area will remain up until final installation of the pathway.
