Eric Buckmaster, executive member for wellbeing at East Herts Council said:

"We have now submitted our planning application for the Hartham Leisure Centre refurbishment and extension. We are delighted to be making such a big investment in Hertford and to be able to provide great facilities to support the health and wellbeing of our residents.

"We encourage current and potential future users of Hartham to take a look at the plans and share their comments on them. This will be your leisure centre so it is important that we deliver facilities that meet your needs."
