Fit and proper persons determination policy for mobile homes sites

The council is required to have a ‘fit and proper persons’ determination policy for mobile homes sites.

The policy details the activities the council will undertake to assess whether someone is a ‘fit and proper person’ along with how it will respond to the outcomes of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check should this investigation highlight any relevant convictions.

Before the council considers adopting the new policy, it is seeking views from interested parties.  These views will then be given to members of the council’s Executive when considering the policy.
