It’s mental health awareness week and to help support mental health across the district, East Herts Council is introducing ‘Chatter Benches’ into four of its parks: Southern Country, Pishiobury Park, Castle Park and Hartham Common.
Over 700 people attended guided tours at Grange Paddocks on Saturday for a rare opportunity to see artefacts that date back to Roman times, uncovered as part of the archaeological excavations undertaken for the footprint of the new 3G football pitch. Around a further 300 people dropped by to view the findings on display.
The voluntary work of town and parish councils was celebrated on Saturday (23 April) at a garden party hosted by Chairman of East Herts Council, Councillor Ken Crofton.
Pishiobury Park received a special delivery yesterday when a new hand carved wooden sculpture, of a Longhorn cow, was put into position in the picnic area ready for young children to climb and explore in natural play.
