
East Herts Council last night (Wednesday 14 May) elected Cllr Martin Adams as its new chairman, following the conclusion of Cllr Maura Connelly’s term.
In addition to presiding over Full Council meetings, the chairman has a ceremonial role and represents the district at civic events. Following Cllr Adams’ election, Cllr John Dunlop was elected as vice-chair.
