Object, Comment or View a Planning Application or Decision

All new applications received by the Council are available for viewing on the Council's Public Access system. This is a simple way of keeping up-to-date with the progress of an application or viewing application decisions. You can make a comment or an objection on an application using the online system.

Object, Comment or View a Planning Application online using Planning Public Access

Please be aware that due to the high volume of comments received, Case Officers are unable to respond to each individual email or letter. However, a summary of public representations will be in the Case Officer report which is produced during the assessment of the application.

You can also use pre-set searches to see weekly lists of planning applications received.

Alternatively, you can use East Herts Online Mapping to search for a property and find details of planning applications, conservation areas, listed buildings and Tree Preservation Orders.

Copyright Notice - Plans, drawings and material submitted to the Council are protected by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. You may use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans. Further copies must not be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner. Any comments on applications submitted to the Council will remain in the public domain and can be viewed by other members of the public.
