Environmental Health Fees and Charges

Each year the Environmental Health team reviews its fees and charges to ensure they are in line with the Council's Fees and Charges Strategy.

The table below details the main fees and charges for services offered by the Environmental Health service up to the 31st March 2024.

Skin piercing registration (acupuncture, tattooing, ear piercing and electrolysis)

Registration for skin piercing (operator) - when registered at the time of premises registration£14.00This fee is to register a single skin piercing operative, when registered at the same time as a premises registration.  All people undertaking skin piercing activities need to be registered.
Registration for skin piercing (operator) - when registered after / independently of premises registration£181.50This fee is to register a single skin piercing operative, if not registered at the same time as a premises registration.  All people undertaking skin piercing activities need to be registered.
Registration for peripatetic skin piercing (mobile)£264.00This fee is to register a single peripatetic skin piercing business.
Minor update to an existing skin piercing registration.£88.00This fee is for a minor update to an existing registration which does not need a site visit.  If a site visit is needed, see registration of premises and/or person cost.

 

Animal activities licences
