Business Improvement Districts (BIDs)

Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) is a public-private partnership in which businesses within a defined area of the district pay an additional levy to fund improvements.

Bishop's Stortford Business Improvement was voted in by businesses in July 2018 and is in the process of being set up.

Every business in the Bishop's Stortford town centre BID area is required to pay a levy which is in addition to Business Rates and needs to be paid separately (regardless of how you pay the Business Rates).

If you have any queries relating to BIDs, please fill in our Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) Form

Prompt payment will help ensure that the objectives that were voted for in the business plan come to fruition.
