Heritage at Risk

Heritage at Risk is the term for heritage assets that are at risk of being lost, generally due to neglect or decay.

There are two lists:

  1. Historic England publishes a National Heritage at Risk Register that includes Scheduled Ancient Monuments, Registered Parks and Gardens, Grade I and II* Listed Buildings, and Grade II churches which it considers are at risk
  2. East Herts District Council publishes a East Herts Heritage at Risk Register 2018-19 [15MB] that includes Grade II buildings (excluding churches) and selected curtilage listed buildings and structures which it considers are at risk.
