Love Parks Week 2026

Love Parks Week, is a national event organised by Keep Britain Tidy, and is a celebration of the role parks play in supporting healthy lifestyles, mental wellbeing, and strong communities.

Join us at Castle Park in Bishop's Stortford on Thursday, 30 July 2026 to celebrate Love Parks Week, where there will be a range of free, family-focussed activities on offer, including:

- Archaeology experience for kids where they can find hidden treasures
- Face painting
- Tennis coaching (book on ClubSpark)
- Arts and crafts
- A story and rhyme time session hosted by Bishop's Stortford Library

The ever-popular East Herts Love Parks Dog Show also returns for another year, with the district's dogs set to strut their stuff in categories such as Waggiest Tail, Best Rescue and Best Child Handler.

Terrace Park Cafe & Kitchen will be serving food and drink in the park, whilst other vendors will also be in attendance.
