Three new high quality tennis courts situated to the north of Castle Park are now open. Accredited by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), they will provide a significantly enhanced experience for Bishop’s Stortford’s tennis enthusiasts.

Applications are now open for a new form of free ID that can be used at elections. Ahead of a new voter ID requirement, the UK Government has opened the online portal for the ID, known as the Voter Authority Certificate, for voters that do not already have an accepted form of photo ID.

Following agreement by Executive on 25 October 2022, East Herts Council will begin the phasing of 180L refuse bins when existing general waste bins need to be replaced because they are lost or damaged. This will also begin the transition to standard bin sizes and colours for East and North Herts which will save money and improve stock levels for replacements.
