All activities are free for ages 11-19 years old

Bishop's Stortford

Youth Project at Northgate Youth Centre (Northgate End)
Every Tuesday 7-9pm and Friday 5.30-7.30pm (ages 13-15 only) & 7.30-9.30pm

Skate Parks

  • There are five skate parks in the district:

  • Sworders Field, Bishop's Stortford
  • Hartham Common, Hertford
  • Bowling Green Playing Field, Buntingford
  • Vantorts Park, Sawbridgewoth

Graffiti Wall

  • Sworders Field, Bishop's Stortford

Cinema & Arts

  • Empire Cinema, Anchor Street, Bishop's Stortford
  • Hertford Theatre, The Wash, Hertford
  • Rhodes Art Complex, South Street, Bishop's Stortford

Parks & Play areas

There are lots of parks and open spaces in East Herts that can provide great places for young people to meet up with friends. Take a look at our pages on local parks and play areas for more information.

Friday Night Lights - Football at Wodson Park

East Herts Community Safety Partnership is working together with Wodson Park to offer free football sessions on the new 3G pitches

Sessions are on Friday nights,  8pm - 9pm for ages 13-19 years. 

No need to book, just turn up.

Qualified coaches will be running the sessions.
