Northern Parkland

Northern Parkland is a large area of grassed open space located to the north of St Michaels Mead. It has two enclosed children's play areas, goals for informal kickabouts and pathways linking it to Bishop's Park open space.

Bishop’s Stortford is situated in East Herts, near to the Herts/Essex border. It’s 30 miles from London and less than 20 minutes by car from Junction 27 of the M25 via the M11 motorway.

There are regular rail services from London Liverpool Street to Bishop’s Stortford.
 

Parks and Beyond circular walks

Explore the south west corner of Bishop's Stortford by following Parks and Beyond circular walks which link together five East Herts Council managed open spaces - Southern Country Park, Northern Parkland, Thorley Wedge, Bishop's Park and The Firs.

Our Southern Country Park Green Space Action Plan 2018-2023 is a five year plan for the park and the four nearby parks to guide our plans to create a linked walking route between five parks in Bishop's Stortford.
