Fever! The History of Disease in Herts
Online session via MS Teams

This talk traces the many diseases and epidemics that have affected Hertfordshire since the 1300s.  We'll be exploring original records to find out how local people were affected by the 'swetyng sycknesse', smallpox, cholera and sadly, many others. We'll also be looking at the steps that were taken to contain and prevent disease.

As this talk will be hosted using MS Teams, participants will need access to a computer, tablet or phone with audio. Instructions for joining the talk will be sent in advance via email, so please ensure that you provide a current email address when you book.
