Self Build Register Form

Please complete the following Self-build and Custom Housebuilding form below. You will need to provide evidence to support the information and you will be able to attach documents within this form. Once this form has been submitted the Council will assess the application against the legislation and decide whether to add you to Part 1 or Part 2 of the Self-build and Custom Housebuilding Register.
 

Part 1 is for applicants that fulfil all the criteria in the legislation.  Please note you will need to be a EU citizen to qualify

Part 2 is for people who fulfil all criteria apart from the ‘Local Connection’ test.

On part 2 of the form, applicants will need to consider whether they have appropriate levels of funding to demonstrate that they can purchase a plot of land and sustain the build costs through the development.

Applicants should also note that completion of registration does not guarantee that a suitable plot will be identified or made available to you.
