Current Stage- Adopted Neighbourhood Plan

The Neighbourhood Plan has been formally 'adopted' and will be used as a part of the East Herts Development Plan.

Referendum Result

On the 7th September 2017, the Bishop's Stortford Neighbourhood Plan for All Saints, Central, South and part of Thorley went to Referendum. The Neighbourhood Plan has been voted on and approved by the residents of the Neighbourhood Area. With a turnout of 15.8% there was an overall 'yes' vote of 2,512 (78.7%).

Decision Statement

East Herts Council published a decision statement on the 27th June 2017 confirming that the Bishop's Stortford Neighbourhood Plan for All Saints, Central, South and part of Thorley met the basic conditions and could proceed to referendum.

Neighbourhood Area Designation

The All Saints, Central, South wards and part of Thorley in Bishop's Stortford were declared a Neighbourhood Area on the 5th July 2014. The designation request and map defining the area are available below:
