Businesses will have the chance to come together this spring through a new series of free online workshops and in person networking events.

From using new media to looking after your brain health, each session is designed for business owners to learn new skills, boost their wellbeing, and promote a positive work environment.

Funded by Herts Health Protection Board and organised by East Herts Council, workshops include: Getting Found on Google, How to Build a Healthy Brain, Moving through Menopause and Podcasting for your Business. A further two events - Fit for Business and a cybercrime workshop – are set to be confirmed soon.

Councillor Jan Goodeve, Executive Member for Planning and Growth at East Herts Council, said: “Marketing and promotion are such important aspects to running a business, but the pace of change in new media can be daunting. The sessions on Google search and podcasting will be invaluable to businesses looking to attract new customers and expand their reach.

“Conversations around menopause in the workplace have rightly developed over recent years, which is why we felt it was important to organise a session to raise awareness so that businesses can better understand how they can support women affected.”
