Conversation, singing and laughter filled the foyer at Hertford Theatre as people enjoyed a drink and a cake with new and old friends.

Organised by East Herts Council in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council, it’s a friendly opportunity to spend some time with other people.

One of those who came along was Gordon who said: “It’s a really good idea.  I’d never heard of it before and I enjoyed it very much.  I’ll certainly go again and it was very well organised.”

Sue said: “It was a very friendly, helpful and welcoming environment.  I enjoyed it very Much.  I feel this initiative will help more people in the community.  Coffee and chat for all ages….what a good idea.  I will be back for the future sessions.”
