Festive Community Support Day in Hertford

Residents of Hertford and the surrounding areas are welcomed along to the Market Square in Hertford's town centre on December 2 between 10am-2pm for an event supported with a grant from East Herts Council.

Community spirit will be in full flow, with around 20 market stalls of health and social care support groups offering help and advice to all. There'll be a festive atmosphere with music, refreshments and mince pies on offer, so it's going to be a really special day to come together to help and support each other.

Executive member for health and wellbeing Eric Buckmaster said: "The festive season can sometimes feel like it brings additional stresses and strains. The council wants people to come along to this community day, to find out about the different support on offer in the district, so please tell your family and friends."

Applications are open to apply for Community Grants to improve the health and wellbeing of residents until December 22. You can find out more and apply at: www.eastherts.gov.uk/communitygrants.
