Collection day changes

The waste collection service across East Herts is changing from the 12th November 2018. The crews will be collecting from residential properties between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

A very small proportion of households (less than 500) will also experience a day change from the 12th November.  These customers will have received a letter from Urbaser with the change details along with a new calendar and sticker for their bin reminding them of the new collection day.  The table below shows a summary of the affected streets within the District.

Within these streets, only some households may be affected.  If you are unsure whether your address will be affected within this street, please see the Change of Collection Addresses [304KB]  (you will need to know your postcode)

For the vast majority of households (more than 62,000), the only change they may notice is that the time we collect their bin may change.  Residents are being asked to only report missed bins after 5pm on their normal collection day via the website.

Trade waste collections are not being changed.

This is being done to optimise the collection routes across the district and is also taking into account the new build properties we have in Bishops Stortford.
