Free help to apply for a community grant

Are you trying to raise money for services that benefit residents in your area? If so, East Herts Council can help with its grants pot to support not-for-profit organisations, sports clubs, charities and voluntary/community organisations.

To learn more about how you can successfully apply for up to £3,000 for a long-term project (up to £8,000 for a building improvement project), register for a free grants information workshop on Tuesday February 19, 7-8pm in the council's Hertford offices Pegs Lane, Hertford SG13 8EQ.

Successful projects will focus on the council's priorities this year which include:

  • Healthy living
  • Income deprivation
  • Infrastructure improvements contributing to health and wellbeing
  • Widening access to cultural opportunities for vulnerable children and young people

The first funding round opens on March 1 and the deadline for applications is April 29.
