Free gentle activity at Sele

If you live in the Sele Farm area and you'd like to try some gentle physical activity, you'll find just what you're looking for at a free Come and Try event later this month.

Ideal for complete beginners aged 50 plus, the taster classes include table tennis, chair-based exercise, gentle Zumba, Pilates, walking football and lots more. It's on Thursday, September 20, 10am-1.30pm at Sele Farm Community Centre, SG14 2LW.

It's part of the Forever Active East Herts programme, funded by East Herts Council, Sport England and partners including Wodson Park and local GPs.

Eric Buckmaster, executive member for health and wellbeing, said: "People taking part in previous Come and Try events have told us they've really enjoyed them, trying out some gentle activity in a friendly atmosphere and meeting like-minded people, as well as taking the first steps towards better health."
