Recycling and donating Christmas gifts

Been spoilt this Christmas - overloading with presents and struggling to keep them all? Then why not donate to a local charity shop or to a homeless shelter to help raise money or simply to make someone else's Christmas special.

You are able to buy ethical gifts from Oxfam, Age Concern, RSPCA and pretty much any other charity. Lots of them have websites with new items as well as second hand stuff.

You could even support the East Herts Chairman's charity Isabel Hospice this year! Donate any unwanted Christmas gifts to a local Isabel Hospice charity shop and help them raise money for their 2017 Christmas Appeal. The funding will be used to provide many services such as one to one counselling sessions to help young children to come to terms with a loss of a loved one.

Don't forget about the Carol concert in candlelight at Haileybury Chapel.

Join the Isabel Hospice Charity on 19th December 2017 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm, for a wonderful evening of carols in the beautiful candlelit chapel at the prestigious Haileybury. This truly is the perfect way to celebrate the festive season.

Tickets are still on sale for £20, including festive refreshments and entry into the charity's draw to win a luxury Christmas Hamper with the lucky winner to be announced on the night. So book your seats now and don't miss out!
