Registered Food Businesses

Request Description

I have recently learnt that food businesses need to register with their local authority 28 days prior to opening their premises.

Your local authority website states that the council keeps a register of addresses and types of business which is open to inspection by the general public.

Please could you let me know the following:

1. How often this register is updated (e.g. every day, every week, every month, etc)?

2. In what format is this register published (e.g. paper, digital, etc)?

3. Where can a member of the public go to review the register (e.g. read a book in council premises, go to read a book at a local library, or go to a website, etc)?
