Old River Lane Procurement

East Herts is currently seeking to appoint an experienced regeneration developer with the resources, vision and ambition to deliver an innovative scheme on the 2.1 ha (5.2 acre) site in the town centre of Bishop's Stortford, in Hertfordshire.

The scheme forms an integral part of the Council's wider transformation vision to capitalise on Bishop's Stortford's attractive town centre and growing population.

The site has capacity to accommodate a 60,000 sq ft Arts and Entertainment Centre, more than 100 housing units, 20,000 sq ft of commercial space and car parking.

Procurement Process

The Council will use the Competitive Dialogue process comprising an initial Selection Questionnaire followed by shortlisted parties entering a period of dialogue before submission of final proposals.

Developers interested in viewing the procurement documents and/or bidding must register with Supply Herfordshire, the tendering system used by East Herts.

The Selection Questionnaire response submission deadline is 12 noon on the 28th August 2018.

The appointment will be managed through a three-stage public procurement process.
