Consultation on Revised Local List of Validation Requirements for Planning and Listed Building Consent Applications

The List of Validation Requirements tells applicants for planning and listed building consent applications what information is required for their application to be validated by the Council.  

Due to the introduction of the Councils new Sustainability Supplementary Planning Document the Council is consulting all interested parties on the amendments to the below list.

The information required to be submitted with applications must be reasonable to the nature and scale of the proposed development and may be required where it is reasonable to think that the matter will be a material consideration in the determination of the application.  .

Public consultation on the revised List begins on Monday 15th March 2021 and ends on Monday 5th April 2021.  Please return all comments by email to planning@eastherts.gov.uk or to Development Management, East Herts Council, Wallfields, Pegs Lane, Hertford, SG13. Comments will be considered and reported for formal resolution and adoption. Following consultation and any necessary amendments, these validation requirements will be required to be submitted as part of planning applications.
