The National Planning Policy Framework (the Framework) came into force on 27th March. The Framework can be found at: Planning Policy Framework 

Accordingly, to assist the Secretary of State in considering the Inspector's Report on the Schools Appeals the main parties have been invited to submit comments on the relevance, if any, of the Framework to the case presented at the inquiry.

The Council was informed that a decision would be made on or before 26 July 2012, however, it was subsequently  informed that this decision making timescale is not possible.
