Introduction

Hertfordshire County Council is responsible for highways in East Herts (except trunk roads).

They make Orders to regulate traffic eg speed limits, no waiting , one-way traffic under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and advertise these in the press and through the offices of the District Council.

East Herts Council is aiming to provide as much information for residents as it can on its website and has decided to add this information on highways to the website.

Orders currently on deposit can be found in the downloads section. Comments should be made direct to the County Council.
