Castle Hall

Introduction

Inside every copy of Link magazine which goes to all households in East Herts you'll find four pages of pull out information about what's coming up at Castle Hall for the next three months.

Films for everyone

Following the successful launch of Saturday shows for children, Castle Hall introduced films for grown-ups. Now that Castle Hall has its state-of-the-art retractable seating every seat ensures a great view.

Film shows at Castle Hall are proving a hit and building up a loyal following:  in June some 249 people enjoyed a screening of Mrs Henderson Presents - only the second film for grown-ups to be screened at the Hertford venue since its relaunch.

All films have been requested by members of the public, so if there's something you'd like to see, let Castle Hall know – there's a feedback form at every show or you can email them at castle.hall@eastherts.gov.uk.

In the autumn when the nights begin to draw in, space in the Castle Hall calendar for films will be found in the afternoons for matinee performances where possible, also due to public demand.

Tickets for screenings can be booked in advance and is proving an extremely popular option with Castle Hall cinema audiences – almost two-thirds (63%) of Mrs Henderson Presents tickets were advance bookings.

You can book by calling 01992 531500 or in person at the box office in The Wash.
