How To Find Us:
It might take a lifetime of practice to get to Carnegie Hall (as the saying goes), but to get to Castle Hall in Hertford, visitors need to just follow these simple directions.
By Rail
There are regular rail services to Hertford North Station from Kings
Cross and to Hertford East from Liverpool Street. It is a short walk from
both stations to Castle Hall, but there is a taxi service operating from
both.
By Car
From the A1
take the Hatfield turnoff and proceed along the A414 directly into
Hertford. At the County Hall roundabout turn left into The Wash.
From the A10
(London-Cambridge) take the Hertford turn off. Follow the dual
carriageway into Hertford. Turn left into Gascoyne Way and then
turn right at the County Hall roundabout into The Wash.
Parking
The nearest public car park is at St. Andrews Street. A footbridge has
been built across the mill weirs to give direct access to the hall. If this is full there are a number of other car parks within short walking distance - see map for details.
