The Bucket List (Certificate 12)
Wednesday, November 5 - 2.30pm and 7.30pm
Edward Cole (Jack Nicholson) has worked hard his whole life to build his hospital corporation into a Fortune 500 company. As CEO, Edward is on top of the world when cancer comes knocking on his door. In the hospital, Edward is put into a room with another cancer patient, Carter Chambers. The doctors have given both the news that they have six-months to a year to live. Carter remembers that in one of his classes the professor gave them an assignment to fill out a Bucket List of the things you want to do in life before you kick the bucket. Carter starts writing his list of things to do. Edward sees the list and writes some other things to do like skydiving and race car driving. They both decide to leave the hospital and embark on fulfilling all the things on the bucket list.

The Counterfeit Stones are rolling out their latest theatre tour, “It’s Phoney Rock And Roll”. As the name of the tour implies, the band lovingly (and laughingly!) covers the history of the Rolling Stones from 1963 through to the stadium gigs of the 1980s. The show which blend stunningly accurate live renditions of the Stones’ music with the replica (and sometimes unintentionally hilarious) costumes, the trademark dance moves, much onstage banter and, of course, the wigs!

The action of the ‘Allo ‘Allo takes place in and around the Café René in German occupied France during the 2nd World War.
René, the café proprietor, whilst trying to remain impartial, is inveigled into the war on both sides. The Germans are threatening to shoot him if he does not secretly hide stolen valuable paintings; the Resistance are using his café as a safe-house for shot down British airmen; and on top of that, he is trying to keep his passionate love affairs with the waitresses secret from his wife.

Bob Wilson’s Life in The Beautiful Game sees the Arsenal legend and veteran BBC presenter take a long and personal look back at a sport that has kept him busy in one form or other for over half a century. During his career, he has played alongside or against, coached, interviewed, become friends with, or at least met pretty much every great name the game of football has ever produced. Needless to say, he has picked up some pretty good stories along the way. From Busby to Beckham, Clough to Cruyff, Hoddle to Henry, no one escapes Wilson’s entertaining dissection of the game.

A recent college graduate, Barry wants more out of life than the inevitable career that awaits him and every other worker in New Hive City--a job at Honex... making honey. Barry jumps at the chance to venture out of the hive, and soon encounters a world beyond his wildest dreams. When Barry inadvertently meets a quirky florist named Vanessa, he breaks one of the cardinal rules of beedom -he talks to her. A friendship soon develops, and Barry gets a guided crash course in the ways of the human race. When he shockingly discovers that anyone can purchase honey right off the grocery store shelf, he realises that his true calling is to stop this injustice and set the world right by suing the human race for stealing the bees' precious honey.
